I have a peugeot 206 1.1LX it seems to have loss of power, just had coil pack changed cause it wasn't sparking on all 4 plugs, one plug was black and wasn't sparking at all,the garage now seems to feel that the loss of power maybe due to a blocked injector, the car runs ok apart from slow acceleration!

yes car was starting fine, 3 of the plugs were fine 1 was bit sooty colour and little bit wet, after changing the coil pack he poured some injection cleaner into the petrol tank, when using the car today after work when first pulling away it was a little bit jerky, acceleration for a split second was there but then continued to hold back....

thats ok dave appreciate your time, the garage did connect a gadget to a plug in just under the steering wheel or there abouts but I didn't know the outcome of that, they checked the compression from the plugs as far as I know that outcome was ok, the gadget they used was a hand held type meter, must admit I was expecting the car to be hooked up to a larger machine and given a print out from the machine...

hi the first step i would take would be to swap over the injector that was leaving a plug wet to see if the fault moves to another cylinder if it does then the problem lies with the injector. dave
